The primary football associaition offers competitve football opportunities for Y4 - 6 boys and girls for all pupils in Sheffield schools. Schools play in both leagues and one off tournaments that are based on geographical location. English Schools` Football Assocaiton (ESFA) tournaments are run for Year 4 boys and girls and Y5/6 boys and girls, with the top two schools from each competiton being invited to the South Yorksg=hire Finals, then possible regional and national finals.

The winners of the Year 5 boys, Y6 boys and Y5/6 girls leagues play in a finals night in April to determine the best school football team from each age group.
