The primary athletics association offers Year 5 and 6 pupils the opportunity to take part in athletics using the City of Sheffield Athletics Stadium at Woodbourn Road. In total, we run four heats and a final`s night, with over 1100 Sheffield pupils taking part. Pupils can take part in a wide variety of athletics disciplines, with those who finish in the top 5 from each heat, for each event, being invited to the City Finals. All hets and City Finals take place during May and June.
The top four performing schools from the final`s night are also invited to the South Yorkshire Athletics Finals.
